LA Mercurio's Shiah is the second offspring
from our ever solid foundation female, Miah. Miah's
unique genetics include PPeruvian Pluro and Ross on
the top, and Bolivian Black Thunder on the bottom. Both
of her offspring, Shiah and older sister Bali, are Champions.
Shiah's sire is Silvercloud Farm's Mercurio, a Royal
Fawn grandson. Mercurio is a 2X Reserve Champion and
has produced three Champions from a total of just 19
offspring on the ground. Over 90% of his offspring have
finished in the top two places in Level IV and V shows.
Shiah has perfect conformation. Her fleece is very consistent,
with a well-defined medium fawn crimp and excellent
density. She is of medium bone and comes from sound
genetic breeding and birthing background. Shiah is bred
to Vic Jr's Hemiaccoyo Paladin, a white hemiaccoyo which
was one of Vic Jr's last offspring. His dam is Hemingway's
Pearl, an incredibly prepotent female. Paladin's first
fleece analysis reported an AFD 13.8, SD 3.1, curvature
66%, and with 11-12 crimps/inch. His fleece is most
like merino, but what strikes many people is his incredible
density. Paladin is a "macho" male and bears
a most striking resemblance to Hemingway. He has thrown
color, including a silver grey male that took a RC in
his first outing.
We would hesitate to part with Shiah except
that we have her full sibling as a replacement. With
Shiah's colorful background, the future possibilities
are numerous, but we are confident the new owner will
be rewarded with a Champion offspring from this first
pairing!
